Texroc Computers was started by its owner/operator, Robert Corson in 2007.
“I grew up around computers. My father was a Programmer/Systems Analyst so there were big CPU’s the size of large suitcases, disk drives that stood three feet tall & spun disks the size of hubcaps as well as dummy terminals all around. I got started by playing with Hewlett Packard 286 and 386 systems running DOS and Windows 3.1. After high school, I joined the U.S. Air Force in 1992 and got into satellite communication systems. For that field, we learned about basic electronic theories and how to troubleshoot from component level to system level. After the Air Force, I continued working in electronics, communication systems, phone systems, and computers. In 2006, I was contracted by a local computer shop to be the Lead Technician and wound up running the place when the owner became sick. Sadly, the owner passed away after a short fight with lung cancer. I learned a lot about business there - things that were good to do and not good to do and actions that helped grow a business. I bought what supplies were left after he passed away and opened up my own shop. This brings me to today.
I do my best to run my business with solid Christian morals. I like to treat my customers as friends that can call me with questions or stop by for a chat & coffee. I believe that if you are honest, treat your customers like friends and do a good job at a fair price, your customers will return. The word will spread and you can’t help but be successful (with the good Lord’s blessings). So, if you need help getting your PC up and running, need/want a new system or just want a cup of coffee & good conversation, call me or come by today!”
